Senior Materials Process Engineer

📋 Description

• Serve the process engineering team as a technical expert for existing and new Markforged materials
• Lead the design, and build out processes to validate material specifications, critical-to-quality
• Provide direction and guidance on continuous improvement projects to increase throughput, improve
• Oversee extrusion line maintenance requirements and relay issues to the maintenance team to ensure
• Interface with development teams to help define measures appropriate to assure the quality and
• Work with MFG Quality team to define specifications and root cause of any issues of non-conformance.

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in mechanical, industrial, plastics or process engineering (M.S. preferred)
• 7+ years of relevant work experience in a continuous manufacturing environment
• Experience with electro-mechanical systems, industrial automation equipment, closed loop
• Strong grasp of mechanical drawings, GD&T, and detailed mechanical/electrical schematics
• Proficient in 3D modeling, solidworks, Fusion 360/EPDM experience
• Experience implementing LEAN / Six Sigma methodologies (green/black belt preferred)
