Design and transfer mechanical/electromechanical subsystems for robotic systems.
Own designs from concept to design transfer in regulated environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust hardware.
Lead mechanical engineering activities and mentor junior engineers.
On-site Sunnyvale, CA; minimum four days per week.
Occasional travel to supplier/manufacturing sites.

🎯 Requirements

BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
8+ years with BS, 6 with MS, 3 with PhD.
Medical device with design controls, risk mgmt, V&V; ISO 13485 familiarity.
Ownership of complex assemblies through multiple development phases.
Kinematics, tolerance analysis, GD&T, materials, DFM, DFA.
Experience designing electromechanical systems with motors, sensors.
