Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

📋 Description

• Design components and produce mechanical drawings in a regulated environment for volume
• Perform various types of detailed engineering analyses (tolerance stack, process simulation
• Rapid development and iteration of full-scale prototypes of candidate designs that satisfy design
• Support production via troubleshooting process and component problems, acting as a primary
• Collaborate with manufacturing to create product assembly tooling, fixtures and instructions.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 6 years with a Master's, or 3
• Experience in machine design, ideally robot or mechanical systems design. Surgical product
• Experience in ASME Y14.5 GD&T.
• Experience using CAD for design and creating technical drawings. SolidWorks experience preferred.
• Comfortable with product development lifecycle: design, implementation, debug, verification
• Experience with manufacturing processes, including castings, plastic injection molding, sheet metal
