Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

📋 Description

• Interpret open-ended design requirements into detailed specs.

• Collaborate across disciplines to design and prototype high-performance robots.

• Innovate with mechanisms and structures to elevate robot performance.

• CAD Design & Documentation: Create CAD models, drawings, and test plans.

• Analysis and Validation: Analyze designs and validate via bench tests.

• Troubleshoot and Implement Solutions: Identify root causes and corrective actions.

🎯 Requirements

• BSME with 5+ years of relevant experience.

• Design experience in high-performance mechanical structures, motion mechanisms, and integrated systems.

• Advanced CAD skills (NX, SolidWorks, Creo) with FEA and topology optimization.

• Strong knowledge of ASME drafting standards, including GD&T (Y14.5-2018).

• Experience transitioning concepts (NPI/ EVT/ DVT) to production.

• Experience with casting, sheet metal, stamping, hydroforming, and composites.
