Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (Instruments, Future Forward)

📋 Description

• Design and develop complex mechanical, electromechanical, and robotic surgical instruments
• Execute end-to-end engineering: concept generation, prototyping, testing, pre-clinical
• Generate and execute test methods; analyze results and recommend design changes
• Generate product requirements and functional specifications for safety, performance, durability
• Create and maintain SolidWorks CAD databases including assemblies, components, drawings
• Contribute to sound technology and design decisions (reliability, manufacturability, risk, clinical

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering or related (or
• Minimum 6 years designing mechanical engineering products (medical device preferred)
• Expertise in high-precision mechanisms, electromechanical systems, complex tolerance stacks
• Concept-to-launch experience in regulated environments
• Strong engineering fundamentals: FEA, GD&T (ANSI Y14.5), materials, DFM/DFA, statistical
• Highly proficient in CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
