📋 Description

• Own architecture and technical direction of major spacecraft mechanical subsystems.
• Lead mechanical development of the most challenging spacecraft subsystems and hardware.
• Define design approaches balancing performance, manufacturability, reliability, schedule, and cost.
• Lead trade studies using first-principles engineering, simulation, and testing.
• Drive subsystem architectures maximizing reuse, manufacturability and platform evolution.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent.
• 7+ years in complex mechanical systems design.
• Led technical development of major spacecraft subsystems.
• Deep understanding of mechanical design, structural mechanics, heat transfer, and verification.
• CAD platforms: Onshape, Creo, SolidWorks, NX, or equivalent.
• Design for manufacturing, assembly, integration, qualification, and production.
