Senior Mechanical Engineer

📋 Description

• Own major subsystems: sensor suites, compute enclosures, LiDAR/camera mounts.
• Design manufacturable, field-serviceable solutions.
• Transform customer needs into architectures across machine platforms.
• Create CAD models and production drawings from concept to full production.
• Perform advanced mechanical analysis: fatigue, vibration, shock, thermal.
• Prototype, test, and validate; iterate with field feedback.

🎯 Requirements

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years of mechanical engineering and product development.
• Strong fundamentals: machine design, structural, thermal analysis & modeling.
• Proficiency in CAD tools: SolidWorks, OnShape, or similar.
• Experience with component-level FEA and mechanical simulation.
• Hands-on prototyping, bench/field testing, environmental testing, and failure analysis.
