Senior Mechanical Engineer

📋 Description

• Design components and drawings for volume manufacturing in regulated environments
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams to define design requirements
• Design for manufacturability, reliability, serviceability, and cost
• Select and manage vendors in the prototype phase
• Collaborate with manufacturing to create tooling, fixtures, and instructions
• Develop and perform component verification and product validation testing

🎯 Requirements

• BSME, or similar
• 8 years of mechanical design or machine design experience
• Experience designing for volume manufacturing (castings, molding, stamping, thermoforming)
• Ownership of components or assemblies across multiple launches
• Apply materials knowledge to designs; prototyping and reliability testing
• Proficiency with CAD, analysis, and finite element tools
