Senior Mechanical Engineer

📋 Description

• Design mechanical / electromechanical assemblies for automated package loading, charging, storage
• Produce and iterate detailed 3D CAD models, tolerance stacks, GD&T, and manufacturing drawings
• Design, build, and test quick-turn prototypes and validation fixtures to prove out new automated
• Run hand calculations and FEA structural/thermal analyses on critical assemblies.
• Develop modular, standard ground site systems that can be rapidly, cost-effectively scaled and
• Partner with electrical, software, and operations teams to deliver seamless hardware integration.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of professional hardware engineering experience designing, validating, and commercializing
• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• High proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred), top-level assembly integration, standard
• Ability to apply hand calculations and FEA to establish safety and reliability margins for
• Strong foundation in DFM/DFA for metals, plastics, and sealed outdoor enclosures suitable for harsh
• Proven experience in designing test fixtures, validating hardware, analyzing field failures, and
