Senior Mechanical Engineer, Module and Enclosure

📋 Description

• Draft 2D and 3D models for module and enclosure design
• Perform structural analysis and cost-down efforts
• Move designs from prototyping to high-volume production
• Collaborate with Test, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams
• Develop interface requirements with Cell Design and Enclosure teams
• Support line bring-up, prototypes testing, and validation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 4+ years post-baccalaureate mechanical design experience
• 4 years 3D CAD and 2D drafting using SolidWorks or similar
• 4 years first-principles modeling experience
• 4 years design/manufacturing optimization for cost-down
• 4 years experience with manufacturing processes incl electronics assembly, sheet metal, welding
