📋 Description

• Develop concepts and ideas for new products or methods to improve existing products.
• Design mechanisms, drive systems, sheet metal, plastic housings and components in support of new
• Develop cost estimates based on product concepts or designs.
• Use engineering principles to develop the structural design of products by incorporating mechanical
• Specify materials and components in designs.
• Manage multiple design projects at once; work independently with little or no direction.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of applicable experience
• Experience designing consumer-based products similar to ours (crafting machines, inkjet printers
• Proficient in use of 3D CAD (CREO preferred; SolidWorks, AutoCAD also acceptable)
• Proficient in engineering analysis tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB)
• Interest in and aptitude for robotics, kinematics, dynamics, mechatronics, mechanism design
