📋 Description

Own mechanical architecture of mobile robots and arms
Design precision mechanisms in CAD balancing stiffness, mass, cost
Select and integrate motors, gearboxes, harmonic drives, bearings
Run FEA and FMEA, use results to improve design
Build and instrument test rigs, run to failure
Set mechanical design standards, mentor engineers

🎯 Requirements

6-10 years mechanical design in robotics or related
Expert CAD in SolidWorks, NX, Creo, Onshape
Practical FEA and hand calculation skills
Fluency in GD&T and tolerance stack ups
Hands-on lab and shop ability
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
