Senior Mechanical & Plumbing Estimator

📋 Description

• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for mechanical, plumbing, and sheet metal.
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents for complex projects.
• Utilize AutoBid for mechanical and sheet metal estimating.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and scope clarification.
• Prepare bid proposals, RFIs, and submittal documentation.
• Manage revisions and support ongoing preconstruction activities.

🎯 Requirements

• Civil Engineering degree or equivalent estimating experience.
• Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal).
• 8+ years estimating experience in mechanical and plumbing construction.
• 2-3 years estimating with heavy plan/spec exposure (e.g., chilled water, hospitals).
• Proficiency with AutoBid for mechanical and sheet metal estimating.
• Experience preparing detailed estimates, bid packages, RFIs, and preconstruction documentation.
