Senior Mechanical & Thermal Production Technician

📋 Description

• Perform and support mechanical assembly, integration, and testing of precision, high-value hardware.
• Take ownership of day-to-day technical readiness in your assigned production area, including tools
• Provide practical guidance, troubleshooting support, and on-the-job coaching to technicians.
• Collaborate with Senior Technician, Production Line Owners, and AIT Engineering to investigate root
• Identify bottlenecks, recurring defects, unnecessary handling, and sources of rework; implement
• Apply Lean and 6S principles to create safe, organized, ergonomic, and efficient workstations.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, integration, or production.
• Experience in a quality-critical or complex manufacturing environment such as space, aerospace
• Demonstrated ownership of a production activity, workstation, or technical problem.
• Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing and 6S.
• Hands-on experience with rework and repair of aerospace mechanical structures, including aluminum
• Confident use of precision hand tools, torque tools, and measuring equipment; ability to interpret
