Senior Mining Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead mine planning, design, and optimization activities for mining projects from concept through
• Manage technical studies (PEA, PFS, FS), production schedules, ventilation, and operational
• Provide mentorship, oversee contractors, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Develop and evaluate open-pit mine plans and underground mine designs as a consulting mining
• Apply innovative methodologies to conceptual, pre-feasibility, feasibility, and operating mine
• Prepare and author technical reports, including acting as a Qualified Person (QP) where applicable.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related engineering discipline (e.g., Civil
• Minimum of 15 years of technical experience within the mining industry.
• More than 10 years of experience in project evaluation, budgeting, and cost estimation from project
• Demonstrated leadership and management experience, with a proven ability to lead, mentor, and
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high standard of quality
• Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
