Own the design, maintenance, and improvement of NMI's MySQL estate for performance and reliability.
Monitor and manage databases across multiple platforms.
Collaborate with developers to resolve performance issues.
Participate in on-call rotation for database incidents.
Contribute to database architecture design and evolution.
Test, document, and continuously improve database performance.

🎯 Requirements

5+ years of DBA experience with MySQL and MariaDB
Patches and major version upgrades for databases
Experience with HA, replication, DR, and backups
Production experience with Galera, MHA, or Orchestrator
Skilled in database design and architecture
Foundational Linux and Windows in production environments
