Senior Observability Engineer

📋 Description

• Operate scalable observability platform for Hybrid Cloud using BMC Truesight, Helix, Entuity.
• Plan and execute a strategic roadmap for observability tooling aligned with business needs.
• Define monitoring best practices including proactive alerting, anomaly detection, analytics.
• Operate end-to-end monitoring for real-time visibility into networks, distributed systems and apps.
• Establish automated alerting thresholds based on SLOs and SLAs.
• Automate monitoring configurations and telemetry collection with Ansible and Terraform.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years with observability or monitoring engineering operational roles.
• 7+ years hands-on with ITSM platforms ServiceNow and monitoring tools DataDog, Entuity.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Bash, JavaScript for automation.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform) for observability deployments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing complex issues.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
