Senior Open Source Design Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and build interfaces for AI development, evaluation, and observability.
• Create intuitive journeys and visualizations for embeddings, traces, and agent workflows.
• Develop reusable design system components and patterns from concept to production.
• Define AX patterns, including interaction contracts and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Enable AI agents to navigate product environments with usability and safety.
• Prototype new AI-powered features to improve visibility into AI performance.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong frontend experience, especially React and TypeScript, with design intuition.
• Deep understanding of interaction design, IA, and developer experience.
• Experience designing and shipping products for technical users, AI or dev tools.
• Understand AI workflows, agent systems, evaluations, and observability.
• Strong portfolio with end-to-end product design and system thinking.
• Experience prototyping quickly and iterating toward production-quality experiences.
