Senior Opto-Mech Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, build, and sustain opto-mechanical solutions for optical systems.
• Lead NPI with Manufacturing; develop new variations and features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional hardware teams to solve evolving challenges.
• In-office role in Sunnyvale, CA with 4-5 days on-site; WFH allowed.
• This role includes lab work to build and test optics equipment.
• Visa sponsorship and relocation are not offered.

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field; 3+ years in opto-mechanical design.
• Strong mechanical background; CAD fluency; SolidWorks.
• Experience developing specs for optical/opto-mechanical/optoelectronic assemblies.
• Knowledge of GD&T, SPC; product quality metrics.
• Experience in optical alignment and metrology.
• Portfolio included with resume.
