Senior Payroll Specialist

📋 Description

• Process bi-weekly payroll in ADP Workforce Now for Canadian employees; including timecard review
• Ensure compliance with federal and provincial payroll legislation, employment standards and CRA
• Respond to employee and manager inquiries regarding payroll-related questions
• Prepare reporting to fund benefit-related deductions from employee’s pay - RRSP, HSA and various
• Maintenance and creation of various employee time off policies in the timekeeping system
• Create payroll journal entries for posting in NetSuite(ERP), including regular payroll, month end

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of Canadian payroll experience, including full-cycle processing and year-end.
• Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP), or Payroll Leadership Professional (PLP) or Certified
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
