Senior People Operations Specialist

📋 Description

• Execute end-to-end employee lifecycle across jurisdictions (offers, onboarding, changes, leaves, offboarding)
• Prepare contracts, amendments, side letters, and termination docs using templates; escalate complex cases
• Coordinate global immigration and right-to-work; UK Sponsor License records; support visa compliance
• Be the first contact for People Ops policies; resolve queries and escalate complex cases
• Maintain knowledge of employment laws across Volta countries to ensure compliance
• Oversee EOR/PEO arrangements; ensure compliant docs and processes

🎯 Requirements

• Substantial people/HR ops experience, including scaling orgs where processes were built
• Multijurisdictional experience running lifecycle ops and docs across Europe and North America
• Strong knowledge of people ops best practices: lifecycle design, standards, SLAs, data hygiene
• UK employment law and right-to-work knowledge; know when local rules override UK default
• UK GDPR data protection understanding
• Excellent attention to detail and strong spreadsheet and data skills
