Senior Perception Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deploy perception systems for AIM’s autonomous machines.
• Architect perception algorithms for scene understanding and obstacle detection.
• Advance perception stack with sensor fusion and environment modeling.
• Build real-time inference pipelines on edge compute.
• Collaborate with robotics, controls, and software teams to integrate perception with planning.
• Ensure perception interfaces are robust, testable, and observable.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience designing, training, and evaluating ML models.
• Strong math foundations: optimization, gradients, regularization.
• Familiar with training dynamics: overfitting, convergence, data imbalance.
• 2D/3D machine perception and depth sensing.
• Perception sensor calibration (camera, LiDAR, radar).
• Shipping production ML models; Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, C++.
