Senior PKI Standards & Compliance Engineer

📋 Description

• Conduct PKI compliance analyses against BRs, EV guidelines, and S/MIME BRs.
• Represent DigiCert in CA/Browser Forum, IETF, and other standards forums.
• Evaluate changes to standards for technical feasibility and compliance impact.
• Author and maintain CPS, Certificate Policies, and policy artifacts.
• Monitor evolving regulatory landscape (post-quantum crypto, cert lifetimes, ACME) and assess implications.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, legal, security, and engineering to embed compliance in the SDLC.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in PKI, digital certificates, or related field.
• Deep familiarity with X.509, RFC 5280, and CA/Browser Forum requirements.
• Ability to analyze complex policy/technical docs and produce clear compliance assessments.
• Experience with public standards processes (CA/Browser Forum, IETF, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to represent positions publicly.
• Proficiency with certificate tooling, ASN.1, and PKI debugging.
