Senior Platform Engineer - Cloud & Developer Experience

📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infra including networking, IAM, and IaC with Terraform.
• Develop self-service platform capabilities and internal tools for provisioning infra.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for cloud and customer environments.
• Implement secure-by-design infra with IAM, secrets, least-privilege, and network security.
• Establish platform standards, engineering governance, and reusable solutions.
• Improve observability with monitoring, alerting, logging, and cost optimization.
• Partner with engineering and research teams to scale cloud infra and improve developer experience.
• Drive automation initiatives to simplify ops, improve reliability, and accelerate delivery.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience designing, deploying, and operating production cloud infra on AWS.
• Terraform IaC expert; Ansible a plus.
• Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud-native infra.
• Strong CI/CD knowledge with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Flux, or equivalents.
• Cloud security best practices: IAM, secrets management, least-privilege.
• Cloud networking basics: VPCs, DNS, load balancers, segmentation.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or similar.
• Product-oriented, self-service platform mindset with strong remote collaboration.
