Senior Platform Engineer - Container Services

📋 Description

• Build and operate core infra: Kubernetes and private cloud infrastructure.
• Drive automation and reduce toil: Self-service tooling for provisioning/config management.
• Ensure reliability at scale: On-call rotations, incident response, postmortems.
• Collaborate across teams/time zones: Global teams with Chicago hub.
• Shape platform evolution: Architectural decisions and multi-region resilience.

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on platform engineering: 7+ years
• Linux proficiency: Admin, networking, security fundamentals.
• Kubernetes at scale; Terraform, Consul, Nomad, Vault; ArgoCD.
• On-prem / bare-metal experience: Provisioning, hardware lifecycle, datacenter ops.
• Scripting & programming: Bash; Python or Go.
• Nice to have: FinTech/regulatory; Ansible/Puppet; HAProxy/Nginx; IaC at scale.
