Senior Platform Engineer, Event Streaming Platform

📋 Description

• Design, build and operate large-scale event streaming infrastructure.
• Improve reliability, scalability, observability and automation of Kafka, Event Bus.
• Debug latency, performance bottlenecks and capacity constraints in distributed systems.
• Build automation and self-healing to reduce toil.
• Contribute to 24/7 on-call rotation and incident response.
• Collaborate with SRE, Data Platform and Caching teams across EU/US.

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience building/operating distributed systems in production.
• Deep experience with Kafka or similar event streaming systems.
• Strong coding in Java, Go, Python or similar for production systems.
• Experience operating scalable production infrastructure; debugging.
• Infrastructure automation, observability, capacity management and operational excellence.
• Strong Linux, networking and JVM fundamentals.
