Senior Principal Engineer (Data Plane) - C, C++ or Go

📋 Description

• Architect high-throughput, low-latency data plane systems
• Lead packet processing pipeline design for scale and resilience
• Drive performance tuning and debugging in production
• Design distributed data plane architectures for scale and resilience
• Build traffic management: load balancing, NAT, proxying, tunneling
• Implement security enforcement in the data path (firewalling, DPI, ZTNA)

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years in system/software development focused on data plane or networking
• Strong expertise in Go, Rust, C, or C++, with concurrency/perf focus
• Expert-level proficiency in at least one language (Go preferred)
• Proven track record building high-throughput, low-latency systems
• Deep understanding of Linux networking: sockets, epoll, TCP/IP
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS
