๐Ÿ“‹ Description

  • Own the architecture and roadmap for a modular multi-RAT RAN digital twin (LTE/5G NR/2G).
  • Integrate MAC/scheduler into deterministic per-TTI closed-loop simulations with stable interfaces.
  • Model interactions among scheduler, PHY, channels, UE, traffic, interference, and power control.
  • Extend LTE simulation with reusable abstractions for 5G NR and 2G stacks.
  • Design a fidelity ladder with high-fidelity PHY and fast surrogate models.
  • Develop AI/ML RAN capabilities including neural channel estimation and learned scheduling.

๐ŸŽฏ Requirements

  • BSc or MSc in Electrical/Computer Engineering, CS; PhD advantageous.
  • Typically 7+ years in wireless systems, RAN dev, modem/PHY, or simulation.
  • Strong C/C++ and Python; integrate production code with simulation tooling.
  • Experience building/validating link-level and system-level simulations; lab validation.
  • Knowledge of 3GPP LTE/NR specs; test scenario development.
  • Experience with Linux, Git, CI/CD, and containers.
  • Ability to lead architecture decisions and communicate across teams.
