Senior Principal Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Own backend services: design, evolve, and scale for commerce workflows.
• Lead GraphQL architecture with federated/supergraph approaches.
• Build integrations with major commerce platforms (APIs, webhooks, orders).
• Define service boundaries and data models for scalable systems.
• Ensure production systems: reliability, observability, incident response.
• Mentor teams and shape architectural strategy and roadmap.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years backend/ platform engineering or related roles.
• Strong experience designing, building, operating distributed systems and APIs at scale.
• Deep expertise in GraphQL design, federated/supergraph.
• Proficiency with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience with eCommerce platforms, integrations, or large-scale transactional systems.
• Ability to diagnose complex production issues at runtime, transport, or infra level.
