Senior Procurement Manager - Data Center Capital Equipment & Facilities

📋 Description

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for data center equipment, including generators
• Partner with technical and project teams to translate approved requirements, budgets, and delivery
• Lead RFIs, RFPs, competitive bid evaluations, supplier negotiations, and award recommendations.
• Evaluate total cost of ownership, including acquisition, freight, storage, installation support
• Negotiate pricing, payment milestones, delivery commitments, escalation provisions, warranties
• Support owner-furnished equipment purchasing, including clear allocation of supplier, contractor

🎯 Requirements

• Seven or more years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category
• Demonstrated experience sourcing major electrical or mechanical equipment and construction or
• Working knowledge of critical power, cooling, and facility infrastructure sufficient to evaluate
• Experience negotiating equipment purchase agreements, maintenance contracts, professional services
• Understanding of long-lead equipment procurement, supplier capacity, project schedules, lifecycle
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
