Senior Product Design Engineer

📋 Description

• Own the design system end-to-end: tokens, primitives, components, patterns, docs in code.
• Define how a team ships a pattern not yet in the system, without fragmentation.
• Drive adoption by engineers: instrument coverage, monitor drift, promote system use.
• Build production interface work in code weekly, not just adjacent.
• Create AI guardrails to keep generated interfaces on brand.
• Ensure accessibility and craft quality in the system.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years building production interfaces in a modern frontend stack.
• Direct experience owning a design system used by multiple teams across products.
• Real point of view on distribution choices; engineers consume the system.
• Genuine design sensibility; able to hold the line on quality.
• Strong engineering fundamentals: Vue/React, components, CSS at scale, performance, testing.
• Hands-on with AI tooling in build workflow, including prototyping.
