Senior Product Engineer - Payments

📋 Description

• Lead payments projects end-to-end: discovery, PSP integration, build, rollout.
• Partner with Product to understand organizer/traveler challenges and build payment solutions.
• Own the reliability of our payments system.
• Contribute to WeTravel’s engineering practices and excellence.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years product engineering, 4+ years architecting complex payments systems.
• Proven PSP/acquirer/gateway or high-scale payments team experience.
• Expertise in settlement, reconciliation, dispute mgmt, 3DS2, webhook mgmt, PCI/tokenization.
• Backend mastery in Ruby on Rails, Kotlin, Python, Go, Java, or Node.js; ramp on Ruby quickly.
• Full-stack: build React interface for payment flows.
• Deep distributed systems knowledge; on-call production experience with post-mortems.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration; comfortable in a distributed environment; AI tooling adoption.
