Senior Product Engineer - Payments Team

📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end payments projects with Product and PayOps.
• Design PSP integrations; build, rollout, and monitoring.
• Own the reliability of our payments system.
• Contribute to WeTravel's engineering practices and excellence.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of product engineering, with 4+ years in payments.
• PSP/acquirer/gateway or high-scale payments team experience.
• Settlement, reconciliation, 3DS2, PCI and tokenization expertise.
• Backend mastery in Ruby on Rails, Kotlin, Python, Go, Java, or Node.js; ramp on Ruby.
• Full-stack: build React interfaces for payment flows.
• Distributed systems: double-entry ledgers, reconciliation pipelines, idempotency, event-driven, webhooks.
• On-call production experience; post-mortems and incident response.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in a distributed team.
