📋 Description

• Own critical services in our Kotlin-based payments and backend systems that power Faire Pay —
• Collaborate with Product and Design to improve the retailer-facing experience, from enrollment and
• Partner with Risk and Data Science to integrate eligibility, underwriting, and limit-assignment
• Measure and iterate on program performance using experimentation and analytics, driving adoption

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in backend systems; experience in payments, credit, or lending is a strong plus
• Proficiency in Kotlin or similar object-oriented languages; strong grounding in distributed
• Comfort designing systems where correctness, auditability, and compliance matter
• Strong communication skills and a track record of partnering cross-functionally
• Experience partnering with Risk and Data Science on risk models, underwriting pipelines, or
• Curiosity about financial products and a drive to balance a great retailer experience with sound
