Senior Product Safety Engineer, Renewable Energy

📋 Description

• Independently conduct evaluations of equipment to determine compliance with applicable standards.
• Plan, coordinate and execute project work and keep the client informed.
• Read and understand schematics and manufacturing instructions.
• Validate project scope and sample applicability.
• Identify and locate test instruments and equipment required for testing within the scope of the
• Set up and operate the equipment under test (EUT).

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with 5 or more years of experience, or a master's
• 5 or more years of hands-on experience with utility interactive inverters, battery energy storage
• Demonstrated experience with U.S., Canadian and other international product safety standards, such
• Prior experience at another TIC or NRTL laboratory preferred.
• Must possess a valid, unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
