Senior Professional Services Engineer - Japan

📋 Description

• Deliver GitLab PS engagements: installation, migration, training, advisory.
• Plan deployments from single-node Omnibus to large IaC references.
• Lead migrations from other systems to GitLab SaaS or self-managed.
• Collaborate with customers and GitLab product/engineering teams to drive success.
• Mentor PS engineers and help standardize delivery processes.
• Manage multiple engagements remotely across time zones.

🎯 Requirements

• IaC/Config-as-Code: Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Puppet, or Chef.
• 2+ cloud providers: AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Experience deploying or configuring GitLab and Git workflows.
• Delivery of installation, migration, training, and advisory engagements.
• Independently manage multiple projects and lead PS engineers.
• Must be located in Japan with full working rights.
