Senior Project Accountant

📋 Description

• Oversee project accounting activities and support financial operations
• Ensure timely and accurate billing and collections
• Mentor and support Project Accountants in project setup using Deltek Vantagepoint
• Review contracts and ensure project setup and invoicing comply with contractual terms
• Prepare and issue high-volume, complex invoices in collaboration with Project Managers
• Submit invoices to clients and monitor unbilled time and expenses

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field strongly preferred
• At least 8 years of experience in high-volume billing or equivalent combination of education and
• Strong knowledge of project accounting, contract administration, invoicing, additional services
• Experience using Deltek Vantagepoint for project setup, billing, and financial administration
• Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools, particularly Tableau, and Microsoft
