Senior Project Engineer - Water Resources Infrastructure

📋 Description

• Lead engineering review of project scope and construction documents.
• Perform independent design analyses: hydrologic, hydraulic, structural, geotechnical.
• Inspect water resource structures to verify safe operation.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and contracts.
• Supervise and mentor project engineers and staff.
• Collaborate with local governments, water users, and stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Coursework in fluid mechanics, hydraulics, open-channel flow.
• 10+ years in a similar role; building a book of business a plus.
• Registered P.E. in Washington or Oregon.
• Deep understanding of water infrastructure systems and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong project management, budgeting, and strategic planning.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver on time and within budget.
• 5+ years leading a team.
