Senior QA Engineer – API Testing

📋 Description

• Define and execute QA strategy for backend services, APIs, integrations, and critical workflows.
• Design, maintain, and execute test plans including functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and edge cases.
• Perform backend/API testing with Postman and OpenAPI/Swagger; validate REST APIs and data integrity.
• Work with PostgreSQL to validate data integrity and support testing activities.
• Contribute to test automation by maintaining and improving automated test suites.
• Analyse logs, traces, and system behavior using monitoring/observability tools; collaborate to ensure release readiness.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven QA Engineer with backend services, REST APIs, or integration-heavy platforms.
• API testing with Postman/Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Automated test suites development/maintenance.
• QA methodologies, test design, regression, exploratory testing, defect management.
• SQL and relational databases for data validation.
• AWS cloud services (DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, Secrets Manager) and GitHub Actions/CI/CD knowledge.
