Senior QA Engineer

📋 Description

• Own quality OKRs with the EPD team, analyze failures, improve coverage.
• Build and maintain Playwright automation (TypeScript) as primary testing approach.
• Own the quality gate for every release: review PRs, coordinate offshore QA, fix blockers.
• Embed with product team to develop domain expertise and end-to-end test plans.
• Serve as Zip's quality advocate in deploy process and raise testing bar.
• Continuously improve QA processes, tooling, and documentation.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven track record owning QA end-to-end in fast-moving SaaS environment.
• Strong Playwright and TypeScript skills; pytest or Python is a plus.
• Automation-first mindset with knowledge of the testing pyramid.
• Collaborate across EPD; communicate test plans clearly; reduce friction.
• Sharp attention to detail and a customer-first orientation; test edge cases.
• Experience with financial or transactional workflows is a strong plus.
