📋 Description

  • Lead outdoor/field test activities: plan, schedule, execute drive tests and field trials.
  • Define outdoor test strategy, test plans, cases and acceptance criteria.
  • Build outdoor end-to-end test setups: site survey, antenna, RF, backhaul, power, GPS.
  • Execute field measurements and analyze RF/KPI results (RSRP, RSRQ, SINR, throughput).
  • Analyze and debug UE, RAN, core logs; resolve outdoor setup issues and drive to root cause.
  • Mentor junior test engineers; review test plans and results.

🎯 Requirements

  • 5+ years hands-on LTE/5G NR outdoor/field testing or RF optimization.
  • Proven experience leading field test campaigns and cross-functional coordination.
  • Strong RF fundamentals: link budget, propagation, antennas, interference, capacity.
  • Hands-on with drive-test tools (TEMS, Nemo, XCAL) and post-processing tools.
  • Experience analyzing UE/eNB/gNB logs (QXDM, Wireshark) and 3GPP call flows.
  • Python and Shell scripting for log parsing and KPI analysis.
