Senior QA Engineer, Safety

📋 Description

• Partner with Engineering and Product to define risk-based test coverage for Safety features.
• Own end-to-end test strategy for Safety initiatives, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Leverage internal automation frameworks to automate critical user flows and API-first validation.
• Identify high-impact automation opportunities and design robust, abuse-resistant test scenarios.
• Develop and report quality metrics to surface release risks to stakeholders.
• Apply AI/LLM-driven solutions to reduce manual QA toil and improve test maintenance.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in QA in technical/backend environments; strong test design and risk-based testing.
• API testing proficiency: REST, JSON, Postman; ability to read and understand code.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (UI/API) and maintainable automation architecture.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/CE or related field.
• Strong root-cause analysis; analyze logs and debug complex issues.
• Excellent cross-functional communication; articulate risk and quality trade-offs.
