📋 Description

• Provide strategic regulatory advice to internal and external stakeholders and senior management.
• Anticipate key regulatory obligations and integrity risks; ensure scalable, practical handling.
• Transform obligations into policies and procedures to be rolled out globally.
• Lead regulatory workstreams across products to align with global objectives.
• Drive alignment with global stakeholders; implement processes, lead changes, manage incidents.
• Act as senior point of contact for regulator interactions, external counsel, and negotiations.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in regulatory or legal work in payments, financial services, or fintech.
• Deep knowledge of Japan payments, financial services, and fintech.
• Strong initiative, independence, and ability to own projects in a fast-growing business.
• Analytical, critical thinker delivering creative solutions to regulatory challenges.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience with internal stakeholders and regulators.
• Able to drive global stakeholders toward practical solutions with curiosity and focus.
