📋 Description

• Conduct interviews in person and on calls to cover Chinese government policy and regulatory
• Cover foreign direct investment, outbound investment, and national security review processes
• Develop and maintain a strong contact book of domestic and international sources
• Break market-moving scoops and deliver exclusive insights in collaboration with global M&A team
• Collaborate with Dealreporter and PaRR reporters around the world

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in financial or legal reporting, preferably covering mainland China
• Fluency in Mandarin and the ability to cultivate and maintain sources in Chinese
• Excellent English writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, accurate, and compelling copy
• Sophisticated understanding of competition policy to explain the significance of deal review
• Ability to thrive under deadline pressure while also delivering in-depth analytical and
