Senior Research Engineer, Threat Intelligence

📋 Description

• Own path from research output to production artifacts (detection rules, feeds, alerts).
• Build and maintain STRIKE platform components (servers, ingestion, agents, rules engines).
• Turn research into shipped detection content (YARA, Sigma, STIX) and pipelines.
• Define and govern data schemas (STIX 2.1, TAXII 2.1) for downstream use.
• Automate research workflows: enrichment, reporting, corpus correlation, safe runs.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS, Cybersecurity, or related field; self-taught welcome.
• 5-8 years in hands-on engineering with threat intel, security research, or detection engineering.
• Python and TypeScript/Node in production.
• Relational/Cache stores and at least one streaming or batch data platform.
• AWS, containers, CI/CD; YARA, Sigma, STIX patterning.
• STIX 2.1, TAXII 2.1, MISP, MITRE ATT&CK.
