Senior Research Engineer, Threat Intelligence

📋 Description

• Own research-to-production artifacts: detection rules, feeds, or alerts.
• Build and maintain STRIKE components: servers, sandbox, OSINT, agents, rules.
• Turn research into shipped content: YARA, Sigma, STIX patterns, pipelines.
• Drive STIX 2.1 adoption and TAXII 2.1 distribution schemas.
• Automate research workflows: enrichment, reporting, corpus correlation.
• Coordinate with engineers and product teams to ship research.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS, Cybersecurity, or related field; self-taught welcome.
• 5-8 years hands-on engineering in threat intel, security research, or detection.
• Production-level Python and TypeScript/Node.
• Relational and cache data stores; one streaming or batch data platform.
• AWS, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
• STIX 2.1, TAXII 2.1, MISP, MITRE ATT&CK.
