Senior Research Engineer, Threat Intelligence

📋 Description

• Own research output to production artifacts: detections, feeds, alerts.
• Build and maintain STRIKE platform components across services.
• Turn research into shipped detection content: YARA, Sigma, STIX.
• Drive STIX 2.1 adoption and TAXII 2.1 distribution.
• Automate research workflows to reduce toil.
• Coordinate with engineering and product teams to land research.

🎯 Requirements

• BS or MS in CS/Cybersecurity; 5–8 years in threat intel engineering.
• Production Python and TypeScript/Node; build detection pipelines.
• STIX 2.1/TAXII 2.1; MISP; MITRE ATT&CK knowledge.
• AWS, containers, CI/CD; relational/cache stores; streaming/batch data.
• YARA, Sigma, STIX Patterning; LLM deployment in production.
• Cross-functional delivery; ship research into product.
