Senior Research Engineer, Threat Intelligence

📋 Description

• Own path from research output to production-ready artifacts.
• Turn findings into production-ready detections, feeds, or APIs.
• Ship content: YARA, Sigma, STIX patterns and pipelines.
• Design data models and standards with STIX 2.1 and TAXII 2.1 in mind.
• Automate research workflows to move from analyst-led to model-driven.
• Coordinate with engineering, measurement, and product teams to land research in product.

🎯 Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's in CS, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Experience: 5–8 years in hands-on threat intel/detection engineering.
• Python and TypeScript/Node at production level.
• STIX 2.1, TAXII 2.1, MISP, MITRE ATT&CK knowledge.
• YARA, Sigma, STIX Patterning; malware analysis reading.
• Applied language models in production; retrieval, schema validation, eval harnesses.
