Senior Revenue Accountant

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end revenue recognition for hardware per ASC 606.
• Review contracts to identify performance obligations and timing.
• Prepare monthly revenue entries, deferred revenue schedules, and reconciliations.
• Track COGS and hardware margins with Cost Accounting.
• Analyze hardware gross margin trends and explain variances to F&S.
• Lead month-, quarter-, and year-end close for hardware revenue and related costs.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in accounting with a focus on revenue recognition.
• Deep knowledge of ASC 606 and its application to hardware/product revenue.
• Familiarity with cost accounting: COGS, inventory valuation, gross margin analysis.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication to translate complex accounting topics for non-accounting stakeholders.
• Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems.
• Experience at a hardware, consumer electronics, or technology company preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
