Senior Rust Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Rust
• Architect and implement modular backend solutions across workspace crates (model, domain, data, service)
• Build gRPC services for inter-service communication
• Build and optimize data access layers for relational, time-series and graph databases
• Work in an agile team with daily standups and weekly meetings
• Engage in code reviews and demos with the client
• Contribute to observability and monitoring using Tracing and OpenTelemetry

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years backend experience with at least 2-3 yrs producing Rust systems
• Strong understanding of Clean Architecture, CQRS, Event Sourcing, and actor concurrency
• Experience designing and implementing gRPC APIs; familiarity with Tonic a plus
• Relational, time-series, and graph databases;TimescaleDB, Neo4j preferred
• Strong testing with unit and integration tests; Cucumber a plus
• JWT-based authentication and authorization
• Understanding of scalable distributed system design
• Nice to have: Tokio async runtime
